VP of Operations


LDPR seeks a VP of Operations with HR experience to be a key member of the agency’s leadership team, reporting into agency ownership. This position will oversee day-to-day management of a growing agency, modeling the cultural and leadership values of the organization, and empowering our talented team with the skills and tools necessary to thrive in the ever-evolving world of communications. 

  • You are a natural problem solver with a strong eye for identifying gaps and designing solutions to fix them.
  • You are able to see the big picture and think strategically, as well as dive into the details when the situation calls for it.
  • You stay calm and provide clarity for others in chaotic situations.
  • You are unfazed by handling many priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced and constantly shifting work environment.
  • You are able to manage conflict and speak truth to power.
  • You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • You are highly organized and focused on efficiency.
  • You know when a new process is needed, and when it’s time to throw out an old one that’s no longer relevant.
  • You are flexible in dealing with different work and communication styles.
  • You have a strong ability to build relationships, trust, and confidence.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in overseeing the core business functions of an organization (HR, finance, marketing, operations)
  • Organizational development expertise and experience in a professional services or communications agency a plus
  • Track record of coaching/mentoring individuals and teams
  • Act as the agency’s chief culture ambassador
  • Mentoring, coaching and developing staff at all levels
  • Design processes, procedures and policies that support the goals and values of the organization
  • Oversee daily operations of the company 
  • Manage key agency partners (e.g., IT company, insurance broker, business consultants)
  • Oversee all talent management actives including recruitment, on-boarding new staff, performance management, and employee development and training
  • Lead staff meetings
  • Maintain competitive benefits programs
  • Manage at least one direct report (office manager)

Salary BOE. Package includes medical/dental/vision, retirement savings, bonus/profit sharing and summer hours.
